Develop logical data models (LDM) using standard notation and logical data modeling best practices

• utilize expertise from the business community to understand their data requirements and gain consensus in developing the data model

• ensure that the LDM utilizes existing standardized entities and attributes where applicable

•   have an understanding business process modeling to better develop data requirements

• develop recommendations and processes that fit within a data management framework that applies to the BLM

• understanding of geospatial concepts and data needs to ensure the data models and data standards work for BLM data needs

• use facilitation and interviewing skills to work with business users and subject matter experts to understand and develop data requirements specific to the data standard or project.

At least 5 years experience with data modeling tools such as IBM Systems Architect or Erwin

- At least 10 years experience in developing entity relationship diagrams (ERD) working with business

-Excellent oral and writing skills

-At least 5 years experience using MS Word, Access and Excel.

-Knowledge of the use of MS SharePoint

-Facilitation skills in gaining consensus across the organization

 -Knowledge of geospatial concepts
